About

I've been turning wood for over 15 years. Although I occasionally make decorative pieces most of my pieces are meant to be used. My raw materials come almost exclusively from urban harvest. This wood can be pretty rough but I view imperfections such as knots, splits, worm holes and bark inclusions not as defects but as opportunities. I use a variety of inlay techniques to produce what I call usable art.
